Scratching the surface of Toronto

This summer has been full of adventure. 

The whole "jam packing the weekends" keeps making  it harder to go back to work week after week. 

This past weekend we took a 2 day trip with a group of great friends & the Boo. 

Left on Saturday morning to Canada & first stop......

So many fans came out to watch the game but man 

Canadians were pooing at the mouth for that game, 

too bad the Yankees set up to win in the first couple of innings. 

That really shut them up.

 Defining the Toronto skyline, the tower is the world's tallest building and free standing structure.

The best customer Service by far she was soooooo sweet. and it's a cute boutique.

We then went to have Din DIN. 

I am not going to lie I have no idea where we went. 

With so many places to go and never having heard of a single review 

of any places it was like the luck of the draw.

The goal was for some Soon-dae-guk and based on the Hubz we struck gold

What they make here is fresh & very delicious.

Great Food, Horrible Service

Pretty much this was the issue.................. what you would normally think would be the entrance because of the sub corner of the flow of street traffic based on  how most people walk in neighborhoods you would think that the entrance would be where the most traffic is locted to get customers in.

Well it's not. I get that they might have to tell people all the time "Please don't go through the kitchen to walk into the market?" But if it's happening 5 times while we were sitting there for about 20 mins, then it's not really the people you should blame it should be the layout of the store in general.

But on the real tip the food was great, fresh orange juice and the croissants were perfect. Oh, there was a mature lady at the counter and her whole persona was off and she was sooo rude.

She would just stand there and stare at us. I was going to take a pic of her since it look like she wanted to pose for the camera. but let me know if I was wrong about saying this and it just so happened they were all on their periods that day.

But in the last hour the hubz was still in search for delish Korean dishes.

We found this Yummy BBQ.

And we had an Amazing view of the city.

The Word "Discontinued" Can Haunt Me

3 Problems...I live in a city where things and great products are hard to come by.............. unless your like my roommate and literally buys everything online...the next is that my connect is in my city of love but  the demand for the things that I want is always so intense that it's pretty hawasqerd to come by things whenever I go home.

 Can't get it on e-bay, can't buy it at the store half of the time...........when the connect said they had stock I asked for her to stock up and boy she did.

MAC + Forever 21 Small Haul

                       

Happy Saturday, It's a gloomy and  rainy but hey I would take a rainy day over a snow storm any day. and the showers are just calling for spring and I am loving it!!

That was a blog I started yesterday and this morning it's as if yesterday did not exist. Woke up to 3" of snow. but still at least I woke up to my to babies giving me hugs and kisses. and it's a Sunday making things not so bad.

This warm/freezing bi-polar weather we have been having has gotten my baby sick and I am just over it. Since the weather was so nice on Saturday I thought to myself why don't we have a nice day out and just do some shopping and he went with it.

***SMALL HAUL**

The closest MAC store by where I live is 2 hours away in another country so I have to make the best of what I got and I went to Macy's. Nothing against Macy's but it's just this Macy's, it's the just the worst. No help whatsoever. The worst customer service, but hey I grabbed what I needed to get.

I need to grab a blush for the spring season I wanted to grab a couple of light blushes, usually I do dark brown/ plum blushes but I always need to change things up and why not. Grabbed the Peaches blush. It actually looked really great and I was really excited to get a small tan on and wow it's gonna be Fierce. but even with my natural tone it looks really great.

The main reason for the trip is that I did not have foundation for the longest grabbed some NC40 as well. Yes I am naturally that dark.

******FOREVER 21*******

 Went to Forever 21 and wanted to try out some of the beauty products that they have.  First up on the list on their facial masks. I have been eying these  on their website for a while. For a second  I got really upset because when I went to the beauty sections I could not find these mask for the life of me.

But as I was checking out ** BAM** there they were, @ the register they saw me on the line ignored me but then when I went to look through the mask that's when she asked if I was "All Set?" so I just quickly grabbed what ever  I could. Also I did not want to grab so much and then it not even been worth it. but at this price nothing would be wrong.

 Grabbed 2 in Mango, 1 in Vitamin E, 1 in Aloe

I do prefer the peel mask but we can only work with what we have. Pretty much the product is a Korean based company. 

I will review these in the next blog. There is no need to try out these sukas, when I already had a morning of exfoliating for the week.

These beauty products are sooo cheap that there is absolutely not reason not to snag, My fav has to be the Pink Blush. for $3.50 why not.

Even better, was the pack of Make up remover that I bought, it was $1.80 but Say What it was a huge 2 pack and after the cake that I put on my face yesterday and that I wiped my face last night and the moisture was amazing, and I am not sure if there is a small serum on it but my skin feels great this early morning.

Winter turns to Spring

As most of you know this year for ground hog day, our friend, predicted that spring would come early that year. For many of you on that day it was so hard to believe because we admits a snow storm that have covered most of the US. but since that day spring did come early. I got to enjoy 50 degree weather. but then at the end of this week we were hit with snow, and I am done.

I have thrown in the mits, it's one thing to have have a couple experiences with winter, but when it feels like it has been snowing like there is no tomorrow, for the last 5 months it's just too much. The sad part is that the beginning of winter was one of the best winters but by mid winter the snow accumulation was almost record breaking at times.

But the best thing that we can do is manually bring spring early. and today that is exactly what I decided to do.

90 Day Challenge

Bring the sexy back....is the understatement. With years of excuses, I just really have to make a lifestyle change. Literally because of work i can't stay up past 8pm and that is just showing how much a drag I am allowing to allow my life to be. I'm 22 years young and I should still be able to have some fun.
